Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,–
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
New tutorial is live over at Adafruit.com: make a creepy electronic Eye of Newt just in time for Halloween.
First I put it inside a jar.

Jars are great. Eye of Newt belongs in a jar. I love jars. But I love costumes even more. So I made it into a pendant so I could wear it around my neck:
I’m loving how it goes with my Witch costume. I LOVE HALLOWEEN. I love getting dressed up and painting my face and being scary and being silly. Also I love chocolate.

Being a professional performer, I get to have far more than one Halloween costume each year. This year I’ve been a witch and a steampunk pirate so far. Coming up I have another Halloween gig where I get to dress as a circus performer, and then I have a fun idea for a costume with my hubby for Halloween night itself (provided I don’t get another booking). I’m trying to figure out how to incorporate the eyeball necklace into every single costume. Shouldn’t be that hard, right?
